The moment you enter Angel Chiropractic Clinic, you will feel relaxed by our warm friendly environment and welcomed by our enthusiastic staff.
After completing your patient questionnaire, the next stop is the consultation room. Your Doctor of Chiropractic will spend some time with you, making sure you understand how and why we do things, and will want to talk about your current
health issues and what we can do to help you.
We encourage you to ask as many questions as you like!
We then perform a thorough examination to determine how best to care for you.
The examination will consist of us taking a medical history and carrying out several assessments to show us disturbances in your nervous system or other problems. The tests are painless and non-invasive.
The tests we do include a concise physical examination, a postural analysis and x-rays:
If we determine that we can help you we will invite you to for a second visit to review the findings of the postural analysis, X-ray analysis and other findings with you in detail.
Our trained receptionists will assist you in scheduling a time for your second visit.usually the next day, so that you can begin to get the benefits of treatments as soon as possible.
On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. This is called a Report of Findings visit.
Your chiropractor will greet you and take you to the consultation room. We will provide information that will explain the next steps in your chiropractic care.
We will review the findings of your x-rays and posture scans. A program of care will be explained to you (including costs) and we will agree on a path of care, which you are comfortable with. Of course, any questions or concerns that you have will be answered.
You will also be invited to a Health Care Workshop. This small group class (usually 2-5 people), held during a lunch time or early evening, empowers you with information about Chiropractic and your body and offers you routes to helping your body heal itself faster and to finding ways to stay well in the future. Our patients who attend these workshops consistantly find that their treatment becomes more effective when they are empowered with this additional knowledge. You are welcome to bring along a friend or colleague whom you feel would benefit from this information.
On a typical visit you register at the front desk on arrival.
When it is your turn, you will be escorted to a room to prepare for your treatment. The chiropractor will assess any changes in your health status to determine what areas need to be corrected for the day and answer any questions you may have.
These visits usually only take 5-10 minutes. Sometimes a therapy will need to be used which may take an additional 10-15 minutes.
Periodically we will do a progress check to monitor your response to care and make an individualised care plan.
Please let us know if you intend a session to be your final visit (either when booking or on arrival). We would like to say goodbye and give you some advice for your own ongoing program of health maintenance at home.
