Are you living the fast-paced London lifestyle?
I serve the busy community of London with a truly unique framework that addresses the mental and physical sides of patient healing.
A process that I learned through my own five-year journey to better health after I was knocked off my bicycle in Islington one afternoon. I experienced first hand the frustration and despondency that can take hold of you through restriction and pain.
From my experience, I discovered a process that corrects and educates patients through their journey to optimal health.
So, from one patient to another: you can heal, never give up.

Did you know that giraffe’s have the same number of neck vertebrae as us, seven. Obviously their vertebrae are substantially larger!
As a chiropractor in Islington I have seen plenty of patients come into the clinic suffering from stress, either caused by work or by family issues. Of course more recently there has been stress caused by COVID19 and the subsequent repercussions!
Stress is unavoidable, it’s a fact of life, and as a chiropractor in Islington I have seen a multitude of patients come in for treatment where stress is a significant problem for them. We can suffer from stress out of choice by doing something outside of our comfort zone or doing something challenging, or we can suffer from it as a result of the uncontrollable and random events that strike us all from time to time.
As a chiropractor in Islington the months leading up to the London marathon always causes the phone to ring with a number of runners having various injuries as they increase their mileage. Those that have planned well in advance generally adapt to the increase okay. Those that increase their mileage too quickly start to pick up injuries and unfortunately when there is a deadline easing off on the mileage isn’t always an option they go for.
As a keen cyclist and as a chiropractor in Islington I have had to deal with more than just my knee pain, I have had to treat plenty of cyclists with knee pain.
Back pain is one of the most common causes for discontinuing exercise as well as one of the most common causes for time off work, and back pain doesn’t just mean your low back!
Stress is unavoidable and over the millennia we as individuals have always suffered stress, from being chased by wild animals and being fearful of the dark and of the unknown, to the present day where we have to deal with numerous stressful situations such as COVID19 and to our dependency on the vast amounts of information whizzing around the internet.
In most cases when there is a trapped nerve in the neck, and certainly from my experience of being a chiropractor in Islington, the first symptom is just neck pain and maybe some neck and/or shoulder stiffness. This neck stiffness may occur at the end of the day after being at work, conversely, it can be in the morning after a nights sleep. It all depends what the cause is, and there are multiple causes!

Pain from a slipped disc can initially be very severe and is often described as a deep, dull ache. This dull ache can move on to involve stabbing pain, numbness, pins and needles and/or muscle weakness in the corresponding limb, be it arm or leg.
A "slipped disc" or using the proper terminology a herniated disc. This is a common injury that most commonly occurs in the neck or the lower back.
